2. ALEX FYFFE - CLEAN CLOSE COMPANY
Alex thanked the forum for the invitation to speak at the open meeting.
He gave a brief history of the company and spoke of the work which has been done to remove the graffiti from the area.
He also informed the meeting of how the company are expanding the business to include garden maintenance and void cleaning.
At the moment there is a pilot scheme taking place in respect of using an Eco Trike to safe of carbon emissions this is in conjunction with the Carbon Exchange Project. There is also a pilot taking place to recycle good quality second hand carpets at very little cost to the purchaser.
There followed questions from the floor. Which Alex did his up most to answer.

3. ALI MACLEOD - CARBON EXCHANGE PROJECT
Ali started by thanking the forum for inviting him to speak at the open meeting.
He gave a brief background of the project. He informed the meeting that Dundee Sun City House in Whitfield if open to the public and if any one wished to visit to get in touch with him either by phone or through the web site.
There followed and discussion on how the group felt they could help lower carbon emissions and what could happen if the emissions were not lower in the future.

5. ANNOUNCEMENTS TO FUTURE EVENTS
Celebration in the Park - This is taking place on 7 August 2010 12-4pm.
Looking for any volunteers to help on the day.
Pavilion café - Neil Ellis to take over running of this in July.
Picnic in the Park - Sheila McMahon from Mental Wellbeing Project handed out leaflets to inform the group of picnics taking place on 4 Thursdays' in July in Baxter Park if anyone would like to come along.
6 ANY OTHER BUSINESS
Swannie Ponds - It was mentioned by a member of the assembled group that Swannie ponds were in real need of cleaning. Cllr Lynn stated that this is planned to be done in the near future.
Mollison Street - It was mention that there is a lot of dumping in the waster land in the area of Mollison Street. A resident of this street stated that there were no refuge bins for the premises in the street. SF to look into this and get back to the gentleman.
House in Mains Loan - It was noted that the majority of the group felt that the new houses the council were building were a good idea.
